Description: A graphic illustration of scenes of pharmacists in the practice of the profession of pharmacy by nationally recognized illustrator, C.F. Payne.

C.F. (Chris) Payne launched his successful freelance illustration career in 1980 and by 2001, he was featured in Walt Reed’s third annual edition of the Illustrator in America: 1860-2000. His clients included the Dallas Times Herald,Time Magazine, Boy’s Life, Mad Magazine, Atlantic Monthly, GQ, Esquire, Yankee, Rolling Stone, Kiplinger, Money, and the New Yorker. Additionally, he contracted to produce 200 covers for Reader’s Digest and four postage stamps featuring Bing Crosby, Ethel Merman, Nat ‘King’ Cole, and Ethel Waters. Prior to drawing “Scenes of Pharmacy,” Chris had just finished illustrating John Lithgow’s third children’s book. Chris also exhibits nationally, juries various shows, lectures extensively and is active in local, regional, and national associations and societies.
